I just hit 24k in 13 months

9,000 in 12 months, I'm so glad i don't pile on the miles anymore, my last vehicle was "new" for about a month

I think I may have hit 20k faster than anyone on this board......maybe even the U.S. LOL

Ironically, the main reason I know this is because I was lambasted on a internet forum (that will remain nameless) for posting the word "alot" on it!

Well, now that we're off topic, I think the biggest mistake people make is to put apostrophes on plural nouns.

For example, people say "there aren't enough hour's in the day", which is completely wrong.

Not one single noun in the English language has an apostrophe in its pluralized form, except for contractions.

I now return you to our regularly schedule rant.

7500K almost 5 months.... i thought i drove alot but man :eek: love it dude .. love it!

Not a week old yet and 124 miles on it. Hate to see miles go on this car but but but .... Driving it is the fun part. Kind of like us humans. We age and can't do a thing about it. Same for the miles. Hope to see RX owners say 200,000 miles and still going strong!

Bought my 8 on 5/17/04 and as of 8pm on 9/28/04 I have 8,741 miles on her. She even spent 2 weeks at the dealership. Man I can't believe I was about to complain about LOVING to drive her.

Don't buy a beater! if you are pulling in those kind of miles you better enjoy it then putting the car in the garage and cuddling with it

Jedi mind trick for hi-milers:

Drive around with display in km for a week. (Odometer reading will double). Then take great pleasure when switching back to miles the following week, and seeing such a little number on the odo.

(This is analagous to setting your alarm clock 15 minutes fast and then waking up "late.")

at my present rate I should hit 20,000 miles sometime in 2007... :p

18,000 miles in 10 months, before the wreck.

I never saw the point in a beater either. I drive 30-60 minutes to work, depending on traffic. Might as well enjoy the ride. I would like a hybrid for those short grocery store trips though.
