Go look at a ported 13B sometime. That isn't that big.

I've seen them pretty large, but stock? i wonder what kind of power output we'd see if ours were that large stock.

That is the stock size on all Renesis center housings.

On the 4 ports?
I know for a fact that the 6 ports are not that large. I saw them first hand. They do not extend that far towards the center of the rotor.

I have built over 20 of these motors now. All 6 ports, and the port on the center housing is exactly the same as the picture above.

Dave.. I'm not sure I agree with you.. At least they dont look that large.. Check my pictures from racing beat.
6 ports (http://jedi.betterbox.net/images/rx8/sevenstock/renesisintakeports-01.jpg)
The bottom of the 4 port looks much wider than that of the 6 port and the top of the 4 port extends further towards the water jacket than the 6 port.
or at least it looks that way...

Ajax you are confusing the intermediate housing ports with the outer housing ports. On the intermediate housing, both the 4 port and the 6 port engines open at the same time. The 6 port primaries close 10 degrees later though. The outer plates are totally different. The lower port in your picture is there on the 4 port engine. In the 4 port it closes 10 degrees later. Obviously the 4 port engine doesn't have the upper port.
