I dont see why we are so concerned about this turbo business, im pretty sure that 90% of these so called 'interested' people wouldnt risk voiding their warranty. All of these people will most probably wait for the warranty miles to be up before they make the plunge. Let these people do their development, after all you dont want a rushed turbokit that will f*#k your engine up in a year now do you?

STOP RUSHING THE MAKERS, LET THEM DO THE TESTS THEY NEED!

I can't argue your point. But, I think what happens is as new people get the car and join the forum, they mention and want to talk turbo or supercharging. As they realize that it is not developing as quickly as they would like, they move on to other issues. I know that is what happened to me.
Maybe it is good in a way, as it means more and more people are interested in the vehicle and our little forum. Then they get a little education.

Given the apparent concern with the side seals, I agree that we need to allow time for them to develop these systems properly.

R&D takes a lot of time. I'm still waiting for two reasons:

1) I understand the time it takes to develop new products, especially for an engine that has less than 50 years of development under its belt.

2) I'm broke until I can find a real job.
