IMO.....this is NOT a family site.......this is a car (and lounge) site. You have to be 16 to drive a car. Not only that but most 16yr olds can not afford a car like this. So the demographic of this site is much older. I think we should ALL loosen up a bit and let things be ....we are ALL adults on this site and should just enjoy the fact that they are NO children on here and feel free to discuses and share things openly with out thought of what someone else might think.....except for what they post in return.

that is not correct. this is a "family" site. there are plenty of non adult people on this forum. as evidence you may have missed the thread posted a day or so ago that included a sexually explicit chat conversation with a minor. we allow people to share things openly and several of us moderators have freely joined in on those conversations. but when it gets over explicit and gratuitous its our jobs to deal with it. many adults dont want to read that stuff either and while i am sure you will point out "they dont have to read it" if we let it get too out of hand then the board would be the worse for it because that stuff turns away alot of would be members. it can and does change the whole "feel" of forums like this. just as street racing kills stories do. go have a look at rx7club if you dont believe me. there are many men and woman from various cultures around the world and here in the U.S. that simply want a nice place to come to. That is what we try to preserve here. We try to balance that with the wishes of people who want to explore topics such as politics religion and sexuality with each other. but there is always some ass who wants to push the topic for over the top. thats when we have to step in. and i think you need to re-evaluate your idea of the meaning of "ADULT". being an adult doesnt mean that you do what ever you want regardless of others feelings. part of being an adult is taking others feelings into account when making decisions and having a bit of tact and courtesy when opening your mouth to them.

Ditto what Zoom44 said. And if you'll look, you'll find the person that started this thread isn't even an "adult." We're not here to piss you people off. Just here to make sure things don't get out of hand. And when underage kids start posting sexually explicit threads, that's a LITTLE over the top. For anyone that's been here for any amount of time, you know the policy has always been here. We try not to be complete killjoys, but when people start taking advantage of that, we can't just sit back and let it go.

But we as Americans are heading down a road I think NONE of us truly want to be......were every action and saying is now scrutinized and if 1 person out of a million object....then we must all object. This is the opposite of what America stands for ....FREEDOM, free of expression, freedom of speech. We have always been a society that accepts others for who and what they are.......we need to start learning how to do this again. For ANYTHING someone says.....you can find someone who says it offends them. We need to ALL grow up a little bit and not be offend so much and so often.....other wise this whole issue is going to continue to snowball out of control. We all find stuff that offends us each day, but we are mature enough to let it slide......why.....because that is the society we live in..YAAAAAA!!!

we do have freedom of expression and freedom of speech, but that doesn't always give us the right to post inappropriate material, such as porn, on this kind of web forum. true, most of the members here are older than 18, making them legal adults, but what about those younger. i saw porn when i was like 9 or 10 but that didn't make it right. if you really want to discuss "adult topics" like porn, then go to Playboy's website. i agree 100% with the mods on this one.

One's Freedom ends where someone elses Rights begin. Constitutions around the world are based on that small premise. It's old but, it remains valid.
