Oh come on... you had to know that there would be a bunch of dicks here... wait 'till you post a question that's been answered already or complain about gas mileage ;)

You have to give us a break. Many of us here are older and don't feel that teenagers are worthy of such a car. And then some of us here on the forum(such as myself) don't even own an 8. I am 32 years old and college educated and work very hard and drive a 6 year old pickup truck. I would love to own an 8 but probably never will. Now when someone like me sees a kid given a car like this, it can make you feel bad. When I was your age, I drove a 1976 Datsun 280Z that cost me every paychek just to keep running.

You're off to kind of a rough start. Two or three of the first responders challenged your first post when all you were trying to say was, "Hi, I love my RX-8 too!". Not very cool. It's not like you started the 40-gazillionth mpg thread or something. I'm nearly 3x your age, but I still love it when heads swivel as I drive by. Nothing wrong with that unless you're a jerk about it.

Of course you went over the top a bit with the anatomical metaphor, an unnecessary if understandable defensive display. (Remember, I'm 3x your age! :) )
