i know i said this in another thread, but i didnt want to threadjack, so ill ask here.
I took my 8 in yesterday to get it compression tested. As soon as i told them i have a loss of power and i am requesting a compression test, they immediatly huddled around me and gave me all this shit about how the 8 wouldnt start if i was losing compression. I kept telling them i wanted to be sure, and they kept giving me the run around about how i dont need a compression test. They told me i need the MSP04 Campain and i told them that my previous mazda dealer had flashed it for me, so they ran my VIN and they said there is no record of it being done, so they did it. They also gave me a new licence plate holder, some import one, and washed my car. But my real question is, since i didnt tell them i would pay for the compression test, I thought compression tests come with ownership of an RX8, i guess i was wrong. Anyone know what i can do to get a compression test?
