Look at the air vents, the top one is correct, and lines up with the vent, the lower one is pointed too far up. It may not be the fault of whoever installed it though, as the template from mazda is incorrect. RX8FanMan 09-14-2004, 06:17 PM i know, there some sticky stuff that was behind it but through all the rain and it gave out and its just crooked but the top one didnt give out. weird. I put them on, took forever too i set it up strait everynow and then but it just goes back to its way. Liquid Rhino 09-14-2004, 06:27 PM That's quite a nice ride you got there! :) I hadn't seen a black 8 w/o a wing before... Sweet! RX8FanMan 09-14-2004, 07:48 PM as soon as i get some money thats next on my list Jdunsh 09-14-2004, 10:17 PM hey fanman, did you install the typhoon by yourself? If so how difficult was it? RX8FanMan 09-15-2004, 04:17 PM it was difficult but at the end its worth it. It came with directions with pictures. ayap888 09-16-2004, 11:46 PM RX FanMan ... you are from Burlington NC? Bill Ingold ... yeah. RX8FanMan 09-17-2004, 03:48 PM yeah, bill didnt sell the car his son, darrell (darell sp.?) did but Martie (marty, sp) helped out also. how do you know? you live in b-town also. Darraell is a good guy i only see him walking down my road i always wanted to talk to him. pghRX8 09-17-2004, 03:55 PM Where did you get the intake and exhaust? How much did it end up setting you back? That is exactly what i want to get for my 8. Did you notice a big improvement after you installed them, or was it subtle? Would you recommend getting one before the other. Great Pics, and sorry about that seat tear.... -D RX8FanMan 09-19-2004, 12:19 PM i got the intake first that was like 200 dollars and then after like 3 months i got the exhaust which was like 800 or around there. I didnt notice an improvment right away but after awhile i did. You will hear an improvement but not feel anything different until after awhile. irish8 09-19-2004, 04:37 PM Hey FanMan...
