View Full Version : Rotary Auto Shift Knob Liquid Rhino 09-13-2004, 12:44 PM Did a search and couldn't find any pics of the *installed* rotary-style shift knob. Anyone? my10ae 09-13-2004, 01:30 PM Not the best picture in the world, but it does some the knob. If you want, I can take a few pics of the shift knob when I get home from work. http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/11/web/443000-443999/443115_28_full.jpg Liquid Rhino 09-13-2004, 02:16 PM Man, that's a nice interior! The knob looks cool. My concern lies mostly in the difference in height in comparison to the stock auto round knob. I wouldn't want to switch if there was too much height differenct, as the stock knob actually feels really good, and I've heard some complaints about the rotor-shaped knob being slightly uncomfortable. DreRX8 09-19-2004, 11:06 AM yeah--that knob looks kind of tall--is it screwed on all the way? mikeb 09-19-2004, 06:51 PM I have a momo on my AT they stand real tall so I cut the shaft to make the shifter sit lowered and look normal RX8VR 09-19-2004, 10:23 PM if you want the rotor shift knob, just get an effin 6-speed...but thats just me EyeBall Fixer...(o)(x) 09-20-2004, 12:42 AM I have a momo on my AT they stand real tall so I cut the shaft to make the shifter sit lowered and look normal Is the shaft solid or hollow?
