Ahhh, we'll get the day after landfall from Mr. Ivan this week.

One thing that was throughly discussed this weekend was the terminology used by forecasters and reporters these days. Seems that everyone is getting 'pounded' lately :p

I managed to get 2 days off b/c of the storm........hopefully no damage will ocur at my residence that way I can drink straight through my 4 day weekend......

WOW I really got spanked from Ivan... and it wasn't good! My power is STILL out from last night. Trees down, basement flooded, and I had to send out for a truck to come get me for work because of all the power lines down in the road :(
Geez, I came to work just for the air conditioning, computer, and to quit moping the water out of the garage :p

Yikes- glad you're okay! Bodo's classed got canceled for the entire week because of Ivan, and now it's heading this way. We already HAD a huge flood here- not looking forward to another, but it's looking like we're going to get one anyway.

The garage... tree across road one way (residents tried to get out of roadway)... and (6) lovely lines strewn across the road at the other street exit.
They also won't have the power back on today :(

Well, it's stomping us now. There was a tornado about a mile from here about 20 minutes ago, there have been around three others within a 20 mile radius, and there's a lovely line of storms heading this way as I write. Trying to get my darling husband off Urban Terror long enough that I can go dump this Protege I'm driving and pick up my car before another one touches down.

wouldnt it be better to leave the 8 where it is? any damge done would then be on the other party's insurance.

My in-laws also got hit. The inside of thier house is going to have to be gutted. They live right on the sound in Guld Breeze.
