Anyone elso booked their drives for Motordrive live end of May.
You get to drive the cars instead of just looking at them. Best of all the RX8 will be there. You can book 3 drives for £37 or 6 drives for £57.

I have booked 6 drives for saturday morning.
I would like to try the Focus RS, 350Z, Jag XK8, and of course the RX-8.
Not sure what to try for the other two drives. Will have to wait and see which other cars will be there.

As was said on my thread (http://www.rx8forum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3717) last week it hasn't been confirmed which cars will appear (unless you know different) just which manufacturers will attend. I'd be surprised if there's a driveable RX-8 at the event, static maybe, but I certainly hope so. Likewise the 350Z. Nissan don't have any european models available yet and they might not want to promote it with a LHD car. I booked a 3 drive ticket on the off chance that they're both there (as I have orders on both and I need to decide between them). Have your tickets actually arrived yet? I'm still waiting.
No reply from them or tickets yet. I looked at their website yesterday to see how long we shuold wait before getting worried, and according to their terms and conditions it says to contact them if you don't receive them before 3 days before the event.
Din't think i'll be waiting that long before i#m on the blower to them.
As to the RX8 being their and driving it, no I can't confirm this as I received an email from one of the car mags saying that its going to be there. So I suppose hearsay.
Fingers crossed though hey.
Sorry if this has been mentioned before. I had I quick look before I posted. Next time I'll try to be more thorough:)

Anyone have any idea how you book your slots yet?
Dont want to pay £40 + travel 200 miles only to find out I have to drive the ford fusion 3 times cause all the others are booked up.

No details seem to be available yet.
I also received the e-mail, Auto-express, saying that the RX-8 will definately be there.
Didn't say anything about driving it, but it also didn't say you couldn't drive it! :)
Will just have to wait and see.
I haven't seen or heard anything from anybody since ordering my tickets as well. I do think it is a little too soon to start worrying about it though.
