I'm going to be removing my drivers side CLOTH seat next week so that I can fix the annoying movement and sounds. Anyone know if I need to disconnect the battery before I disconnect the airbag ? My friend removed his w/o disconnecting the battery on his RSX "S" and it tripped his SRS light and it could only be cleared by the dealer....

I don't want to lose my preset on the radio if I don't have to.... :D

I removed / reinstalled one of mine with no error lights going off but I did not turn on the car with the seat out so the system didn’t “initialize".
