Ok, i'm at a friends house because i dont have the internet yet...i just got power back after not having it for 17 hours..omg..i donno how people deal without it for days...lets just say it REALLY sucks...

I have a tree in the back of my house...thats always nice...did some damage, not too bad, the 8 is ok, uhhh...and yea...i'm still not allowed to drive b/c we have cerfews here and such and the roads suck. i was out driving for like 15 min today and thought i was going to die....90% of the power lines are down and the remainder have trees being held up by them..its pretty freaky. Nothing this bad ever happends to gainesville, so we pretty much didn't expect it at all...shittyness...

there is also a pond that usually has NO water in it, and it has washed out a road...the actual road is about 5 ft under at this point...gainesville is pretty much trashed.

ok, i donno how much longer we will have power and such, so i'm out. I'll try and read later on. I hope everyone is doing ok and what not!!!!!!!

I'll post pictures as soon as i get internet back at my house...it could be 3-4 days they said b4 the cable is back..and i have cable internet..:(

Congrats on getting your power back *relatively* quickly! It is awful not to have power, especially if you're on a well. When Isabel hit last year, we were without power for 5 days. I thought I was going to go crazy.
