This isn't so much a posting but a requeast. Im about to purchase an RX-8 pretty soon. I also wanted to fit a body kit. I dont mind the look of the Veilside kit not to sure about the wing but. If you have a veilside kit on you RX-8 post some pics for me and and other interested readers to check out. ( I have seen Titanium grey and red any other colours be great).

cuz.. veilside body kits is hell cool. we all know that. but... a very cool car doesn't go fast.. it seem like weird.. but.. cool is cool.. ha ha .. no matter 8 is fast or not. ( but maybe u can boost up ur 8 first then put it on.. then it will match. hah)=P

No offense or anything ,but your posting 2 different Veilside kits , theres 2 of them , the first pic is different from the other 2 ....

Anyways , I don't really like the D1 veilside kit or w/e its called in the bottom 2 pics .... it's way to low , I tried this kit on before and didn't really like it. Basically the front stick outs so driveways are a problem. It's in my guess maybe .30-.5 inches lower than the mazdaspeed kit. Which is alot since the MS kit is already low.


Anyways, I would go with another kit besides Veilside because veilside just is too flashy in my eyes and the D1 body kit looks weird in person IMO , the veilside kit in the first kit is ok , it is a urethane add on , meaning you don't have to replace the front bumper, it just adds on because it's a lip spoiler.

Anyways keep it clean, get a mazdaspeed or autoexe kit. Unless you really don't drive your car to the limit , then by all means get the veilside kit. Because bottoming out is gonna be a problem if you drop the car any more than .5 inches.

With the add on veilside kit tho (the lip spoiler one) , it is nice and isn't that low , and is pretty clean.

I like Re-amemiya more then autoaxe.
mazda speed just sweet. but man. there is too much dude has that.
so ... I prefer Re-'s body kits.
autoaxe just fine. but.. it's not looking very cool on my 8(gray). maybe silver or white is better.

IMO Ings looks the best....

im gonna get the Ings or Re-Ameniya. i think im more JDM. IMO i think veilside is more built for americans like us.

I like the MS kit ... unfortunately, anything other than stock in Canadian winters will probably act as a snow shovel. Ha ha!

Veilside all the way

if you want veilside, it wont come cheap. they are one of the most expensive body kit manufacturers out there. you wouldn't want to ruin it in those horrible canadian winters would you? just a thought. :)

man that wing is horrible!!! not to be mean but..you have a authentic veilside kit, but then you put that wing on...it doesn't match! but what do i know..its just my opinion...

That's the X-Men wing if I am not mistaken. Hard to have blue and not use that wing. I have Silver so I think Aluminum drifter wing for me. Still undecided.
