rx8cited 09-03-2004, 03:12 PM Congratulations! Nice looking car and I like the background.
What's the scenic location you took them at, your back yard?
I like your RX-8 decals and the "splash guard" looking options. What are they called and are they Mazda options or after-market?

aschmidi 09-06-2004, 01:56 PM Many thanks for all your answers...
i'll try to answer all your questions: ;)
1. first of all i'm living near beautiful town of Lucerne, so far away from Lake of Geneva... The mountain where i took the pictures of my car is called Horben and is about 800 meters high... and the mountain in the back yard is called Rigi (1950 meters) and is one of the "home mountain" of Lucerne.
2. the "splash guards" or part of body kit are official options by Mazda Switzerland or Europe(?)... it costs 1035.- Swiss Francs (have a look at the attached pic...)
3. at last: the black RX-8 decals in original Mazda font (type) is a product of a little company near Lucerne (Kriens) specialiced in car decals (have a look under www.decorplast.ch)... about 300.- Swiss Francs
Hopeing having helped you
(sorry for my average English ;-)
aschmidi 09-06-2004, 01:57 PM ...scanned from the official addon catalogue by Mazda Switzerland (Geneva)
\\Konig\\ 09-06-2004, 02:16 PM thats not fair
aschmidi 09-06-2004, 02:19 PM ...Konig: what do you think with "it's not fair"
\\Konig\\ 09-06-2004, 02:36 PM we dont have those options over here. The body kit i mean.
robertdot 09-06-2004, 06:20 PM Seeing that, I wonder what ELSE we are missing out on.
Rxdriftingaction 09-06-2004, 06:40 PM HP ?! i just saw a post about the euro rx-8 got 208hp on wheel. just about 20hp more then us version.. I hope it's true. and we just need to reset the ECU then we got another ex 20hp on wheel.. ha ha which is sweet.
Rob Tomlin 09-06-2004, 07:03 PM I don't really like the mud guards, but I really do like that "lip" spoiler!
Congrats on a great car!

Yes, thanks for the info. Your English is better than my Swiss :). I got this far: http://www.mazda.ch/de/default.asp
but I could not find the link for the Swiss RX-8 accessories page. Please post it if you can find it.
Thanks,
