On the bright side, from the looks of it, the person only hurt himself. Usually the unfortunate reality is that innocents often get hurt too...

dumbass, that girl at the end seems pretty upset too, like she never would have imagined something like this happeing to such a stupid person.

I remember being young and stupid. I used to drift in my FWD CRX... OK, not really drifting, more like purposely understeering the heck out of the thing floating around corners and the like. I never hit a curb though. I never hit anything. I look back now and know that I was lucky.

That was so friggin hilarious. I played that end part over and over again HAHAHAHA.
OOOOOHHHhhhShhhhhhhhhiaaaat

Why do women always scream in the face of danger, like it's going to do something?
 maybe if I yell really loud the car will come back to me??
 maybe if I scream really loud this fire in my kitchen will go out??
 maybe if I shout at the window, the baseball won't come through it??

Makes no sense but makes me laugh, you gotta love them women.

He didn't break traction soon enough, undercompensated steering and he messed up bad. Oh well.

The girl sounds like a screamer in bed.

I had a hard time telling what he hit. Was it just a curb, or did he go over the side of a hill or something?

I don't see anything funny at all about the girls reaction. She sounds truly scared, which makes me wonder what the results of this accident were.

He might have jumped the curb. Still that is some scary shit.

Dont be so quick to analyze other people's behavior. When witnessing something extremely dangerous people tend to simply react. I doubt she really thought through the best possible reaction before screaming.

Nice vid :(

Was just too fast for my taste, I would never try to drift that fast in the city!

I do a lot of drifting on public road, however I don't find it amusing on the race track. For me drifting at high speed is too scary and obviously bad for the lap time.
In the city I always do it from a stop or at max 20 mph, that is fun and If I mess something up within 20 feet I stop (worst case).

My scariest drift yet was at 100mph, on a country road but that was in my AWD car (GT) so I just had to keep the trottle as it is. Was kind hard to do nothing sudden, but managed and I still live and breed :)

p.s.
It still a amazes me how much more stable the GT is at high speed than the RX8 :( Maybe a set of tein flex' with EDFC will cure it :)

My guess is, its the girl's car or she had a stake in it.

What a bad camera woman. Why didn't she keep rolling? I wonder how the kid felt when he showed the vid. Too bad some people have to live it to learn it.

i talked to Keichi Tsuchiya and he told me the kid's entrance speed and angle were all wrong. and with an under powered S13, the use of the e-brake is highly recommended.
