A famous business newspaper web site in Japan says that Mazda decided to release new RX-7. But it seems to be after 2005.

That is consistent with the going rumour that's been floating around. 2006 as a 2007 model is what I've heard. Of course this hasn't really confirmed by anyone so take these internet rumours with a grain of salt.

2003 - 2006 rx-8? you mean they'd stop making the 8 before start making the 7? i'd hope the 8 would go on forever...side by side with rx-7. and soon, mazda would have a fleet of rotary-engined sports car. heh heh heh

my numbers are from when i hope on owning the car...not from when the rx8 will lose in production...rx8 is mazda's TOP car now... and its the best on the market...killing it after 400million $ of research would not pay the $$ spend developing back...i believe the rx8 is here to stay.

well now that if u have read bloomberg bews and seen that the mazda company plans to relewase 36new models by 2005 i'd say a rx7 if well underway.
