On the 29th the Tristate Rx-8 Club was hosted by Crystal Guards president Jim Campos.

I'd like to extend my thanks to Jim once again for hosting such a great gathering. On top of feeding us, Jim was nice enough to raffle of 2 free demo applications of CG Quick. 50% off the professional application to one lucky member. And several free bottles of CG Quick.

We didn't get to see a professional installation of the product but Jim's application of CG quick was very impressive as well as truly quick and easy. Which really does provide a good alternative to waxing every time you wash.

I'm anxious to see the professional application applied on one of the other member’s cars next week.

Linked are pictures of the 2 cars that CG quick was demoed on: (large images 4-5MB's each) http://www.polakgraphics.com/images/Crystal%20Guard%20Meet%208-29-04/

On another note funny how people don't look like you expect online, with a name like "Diamond Jim" i expected Jim to look like a gun slinging Texan with a furry white mustache.

I'm glad to hear the meet went well. Sorry I couldn't make it. I left the address at work and my home computer is shot (for now). Anyway, I'll check out the tri-state site for more meets in the future. I definitely want to check out some of the aftermarket goodies on some of your 8's, and would be interested in meeting some local members of the forum. See you next time.

It was great meeting everyone from the tri-state club. I had a good afternoon with everyone. I have to say thnak you to brett Simon, the owner of Englewood Auto Spa. He really has a very nice operation and I would strongly recommend using his shop for any auto related services.

Hopefully some of you guys will take advantage of his services and get the Professional treatment done at his shop.

Polak - Sorry I did meet your expectations as a gun slinger. I'm just a california guy who likes classic Van Halen. Diamond David Lee Roth..so that's where I get my nickname...Is that a worse image? ;-)

If anyone has questions please let me know and thanks again!

If interested, we need 10 people to get a 20% group buy discount on the CrystalGuard Quick spray. The final cost would be $32 plus S/H. One bottle is supposed to last 1.5-2.5 years! Visit: http://crystalguard.com/productlist.html for details.
Let me know if interested - we have until the end of the month to find enough people.

Anybody contacted Crystal Guard lately? I am looking to get the Quick Spray and have few questions for them but nobody answers the phone listed on their website the last 3 weeks.... Also, the Englewood Auto Spa does not carry the products, only does the Pro application.

Wasn't Crystal Guard the sponsor for this forum? Maybe you should get Zaino to sponsor the forum, for all the free advertising they get here!
