I saw this on ebay and emailed the guy who made it... he is wondering if anyone would buy them if he made more. I was laughing inside as I replied, "I know a group of rotary nuts who would probably take one..."

That key chain looks very nice, but honestly 30bux for a key chain?? thats just crazy, if your actually going to use it as a key chain think about the abuse its going to take. In your pocket hiting other keys and causing scratches or when u drop it etc.. I just can't see spending 30 bux for a key chain. Now if it was 5bux i'll buy 2 one for my keys and 1 just for show haha

Bear in mind that price is for an ebay feeding frenzy and people have bidded it up to get it. He has only made one so it is unique. He wants to know if people would buy it if mass-produced.

What do you think a fair price would be for a pewter keychain like that? Post that in your reply if you like it.

Dam that thing looks great! I would get it if the price was reasonable....maybe under $10? Maybe drop the "gift box" or whatever to keep the price down.

I paid $15 for a keychain based on the old skool M rotor logo that was used in early Mazda rotary cars and the REPU.

I checked it out. Doesn't look quite as realistic as the one on ebay. Looks like rotor is embedded in the housing.

I think I will buy one of each...

It looks like the one on ebay doubles as a bottle opener. At least that would make it functional in one sense. :D

He should sell them to Mazda. Then, Mazda can give them to each of us pre-orderers as one of our "gifts".

That is a cool keychain, 10 bucks max though, now if you could rotate it, 15 that would be cool, something I would probably play with when bored.

i have seen ones that the rotor rotated in selling for 20 to 30 bucks so for this one if it really does open bottles too i would say 12 to 15 bucks shipping included

I don't know if anyone here watches anime, but Initial D is a very popular anime series about racing. I found a webpage that sells Initial D keychains. The key chain comes with a car and a piston or rotary for only 5bux not including shipping. You can selec from a fc or a fd.
