Yea it was a huge wakeup call. I tried putting it back in place but its broken, and some of the plastic is dragging on the ground. Looks like its time for the mazdaspeed front-end.

Did you park in a parking spot with a cement bumper in it? I did that before in my Eclipse. My front end was lower than the cement thing and popped over it when I pulled in, when I pulled out it snagged and cracked my front end.
