There's a mag called Auto World that names their top picks (including 2005 models) in various price ranges. Top picks in the $25-$35K range are (in no particular order):

- RX-8 (sorry 350z, S2k, & G35c you lose again)
- Lancer EVO (edges out the STi)
- Chrysler 300C (340 hp hemi pwr)
- G35 Sedan (well, the sedan made it as a top pick)
- Pontiac GTO

Nice two page write up on the RX-8, they list 0-60 as 5.9 secs and 1/4 mi. at 14.5 @ 95.6 mph. Also has a small section on the RENESIS.

Very cool.

What really surprises me though is the fact that the GTO is on that list!
