Waahoooo!!....

Received a letter in the post this morning saying im invited to a driving experience on May 21st at Bedford

This day is only for those who have pre-ordered an RX-8 in velocity red. This is apparently because the red is the launch 'signature' colour and the press will be there and will want to interview the prospective owners.

Has anyone else got one this morning?

Unfortunately it didnt mention anything else, but I presume they will be doing a day for the grey, silver and black owners as well

Got the same today from Mazda Uk although my day is May 22nd (and I don't have the red). Nice presentation invitation personally signed (looks like) and RX8 embossed sticker.

Yeah , well I got a delivery this morning and when I opened it , it was a letter from Mazda inviting all titanium grey pre-orderers to come and race round brands hatch in a whole generation of rotary cars.

Only titanium orderers allowed , but we will get to drive RX2,3,4,7 various rotary powered motorcycles and passenger laps in the le-mans winning 787B.

We will then be allowed to partake in unlimited laps in a titanium grey RX8 and will be given many free gifts to commemorate.
We will also be the feature story in next months top gear magazine.

We will be helicoptered home in a special rotary helicopter ...

Well - that is Titanium and Red out of the way - What are the Silver and Black getting ?

Apparently as blue is not a 'launch' colour in the UK those ordering blue have not as yet been allocated a 'day'.
