Seems like last month (February) Mazda had implied that new info on accessories / options would be coming out next month (March). I keep checking but find nothing new, that the window sticker ability on the build order area of their website was not only not updated but has been removed. It appears the UK site allows contact to occur for preorders but you can't see the info you can on the US site. At any rate - anyone seen or heard anything new (zoom44?) that we should see or hear more soon since it's now the last day of March. no April fool's jokes, please.

the last thing i heard from mazda on the subject was that the supposed march announcement had been delayed and no firm date had yet been set for it. it could be anytime between now and june for all i know. email rx8orders@mazdausa.com to see if you can get some info from them, they are pretty tired of hearing from me. i am waiting to hear, hopefully, on another avenue of approach that may provide some answers but so far nothing.

Apparently, Japan and the U.S. are in tense negotiations to have Japan join the coalition forces in Iraq. If they agree, Japan will provide more than 500,000 troops. Unfortunately, many of these military personnel are currently working in factories, such as, oh, automobile manufacturing. Therefore, Mazda is waiting to see if they will lose many of their employees in the effort before committing to any current or future schedules.
