looking for lowering info
There is a search button at the top. Most / all the info you could ever want (that we know about) is already on the forum. But, for springs, search for Racing Beat, Tanabe, Tein, MazdaSpeed, Feed, RE Amemiya... There are more than that, but those are the ones off the top of my head.
For coilovers, look at the JIC FLTA2. There are some more, but I can't recall them. I think Tababe and Tein have them also, as well as FEED...
For future reference, search before posting, or people will e-crucify you.

Thanks robertdot. I haven't seen much about the springs from Eibach. I'm just worried about the camber if I drop it. I have been looking for an alignment or camber kit, but have come up with nothing.
steve how aggressive you want to go on drop is the question ?
what would you want to do with your car ? auto x ,show, daily driving etc.
dont worry about camber kits. an alignment is highly reccomended.

Unless you really slam it (and then who cares, because the car will handle and ride like crap anyway), the stock suspension should be able to handle re-alignment without problem.Regards,
Gordon
I was looking to drop it about 1". Just trying to figure what springs to go with. I don't want it to be to low and ground out everywhere. Like I said before, I just got my RX-8. I had a 5.0 before and when I dropped it, I ran into all shorts of issues.
the 5.0 mustang has an unfortunate suspension design, not just the strut suspension in the front but the geometry is such that when you drop it the roll center goes really low, below the ground, and you get *more* lean, not less!
the rx8 has a much better suspension design and wont suffer the same problems.

Cool, thanks James. I've looking through the forums and it seems like Mazdaspeed or Tein S Tech are the way to go. Does anyone know why the Tein springs are so much cheaper than the mazdaspeed. The mazda, eibach, RB, and others seem to be priced somewhat the same.
ive never heard of a spring failing, so i tend to think thats not the issue with quality. however springs with the same stated value can vary quite a bit in actual rate, and i think that is the biggest quality (or quality control) issue. if you are a fussy racer you might buy a few sets to find a set that matches. for the street i dont think it will matter if you stick to brand names.
