I'm 25 and in a wheelchair. I was excited for this car to come out three years ago because its a great sports car and had a suicide door. I thought I might be able to pull my wheelchair in behind one of the front seats by opening the suicide door. Does anyone know if this a possibility? My chair is about 2 feet wide. how much room do i have behind the front seat?

Bruce,

I think that would depend greatly on how tall you are. You certainly would not be able to fit your chair in with either of the front seats all the way back. That said, if you were able to drive with the seat towards the front (not necessarily all the way forward) you might be able to fit it in, but it would probably be a tight squeeze. If you decide to go for it, I'd consider cloth seats as the leather would likely take a beating from manuvering your chair in and out.

Wish I had more info for you. I don't think I've seen the exact measurements of the size of the backseat anywhere.....

Good luck and welcome to the board.

In one of the web articles linked to from a recent post it put the rear legroom at 32.2 inches. I presume however that is from the rear base of the seat to the back of the front seat.
That was with a front seat legroom measurement of 42.6 inches.

Dont know if that helps. I suppose it depends how deep the rear seat is and how far forward you can have the front seat.
