For me, about 400 BC, in China.

I like hardship, warfare and human suffering!

I would have been a great warlord and the I would have changed history!

I cannot think of any other time period I'd rather be in except now

So, what time period were you made for/believe you should have lived in ? Where? and Why? When I was younger, I thought that I should have been born back during the middle ages. Then I learned about the middle ages in school, and realized that it wasn't all Knights of the Round Table and crap. Plus it smelled pretty bad back then 'cause no one bathed.:eek:

When I got older I thought that feudal Japan was pretty cool. I've always been fascinated by samurai and their code of honor. Then I learned that the likelihood of there being samurai like in a Kurosawa film was pretty slim. That and the fact that I never liked the idea of being a samurai; always a ronin. I would have probably laughed at my lord for asking me to kill myself, just 'cause. And as a result of laughing at my lord, I would probably have be beheaded, and that would hurt. Not wanting to be killed for something stupid, I would have had to go all Lone Wolf and Cub on the Daimyo. Problem with that is that I wouldn't want some kid to worry about, so I would be just Lone Wolf. Just me and my trusty sword taking on the forces of the Shogun. Problem is, contrary to popular films and comics, katanas are subject to the same laws of physics as every other sword. Eventually it would break and I would have to get another one. Those things are expensive. Ya know how many people I would have to assassinate to get that many Ryo?:(

I also thought I'd like to live in a Star Wars-like future, only problem is that Star Wars takes place 'a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away'. How would get there? And the only way I would want to be in that kind of world is if I could be a Jedi. But this would cause more problems because I don't think I could truely live up to the standards of the Jedi. Someone would piss me off and I'd Force Choke them. Plus eventually I'd be killed when Vader and the Emperor start the great Jedi purge. If I survived, I'd have to be either Yoda or Obi-wan. Yoda and Obi-wan are cool and all, but Obi-wan fights like a girl (Darth Maul fight the one exception) and Yoda is too short. My other Jedi option would be to be someone from the Expanded Universe and that would be a mess with all the storylines to keep track of and such. :(

A Star Trek-like universe would be cool to, however it does have it's drawbacks. You've got Romulans and the Borg and other species trying to wipe you out. Plus forget about liking the color red. My luck, I'd be coming out of the Star Fleet Academy wearing my favorite red shirt and BAM some salt-vampire or telepathic lave rock comes along makes me dead. No thanks. :mad:

definitely the era of madmax, I always had some real feelings that I had some major things in common with either Humunculous (the ayatollah of rock and rollah) or the Toe Cutter. Who do you all think on the board most represents master blaster >? (would have to be a pair obviously) Ikewrx would be Johnny the Boy and wakeech would be Bubba (if he bleached his hair of course)
