Hi I am new to sports cars in general. I want an 8. But I keep reading post and mixed information about. Mazdaspeed. I would like to know if mazda is going to release a spped version of the rx8 or is this a dealership modification. I call my local dealership and they stated they can "put together a speed model of the 8". Should I wait to see if mazda will relase a turbo or supercharged rx8, go with the dealership mazda speed, wait for mazda's mazda speed or bite the bullet and by a 6 speed 8?

Any help would be appreciated

Maybe I will do that:
You can put together a MazdaSpeed RX-8 with parts in US
There will be no Super/TurboCharged MazdaSpeed RX-8 in the next 12 months (otherwise it will be in your local news - coz it is a BIG news ). I will bet you will never see MazdaSpeed turbo/supercharge car.
MPS 6 or Turbo 8? No idea. MPS 6 is four pore though.

 

Wait a month or so and just get a 04 6 speed. You will probably get a few grand off MSRP.

 

i say wait for the 05 models if you are that doubtful... see if anything changes or any more news on the US mazdaspeed comes out. im pretty sure it will eventually...
