OK, we have all been moaning about the lack of info.

When do you think we will receive our first official update on the progress of our orders, whether via phone, email or other?

No offence to others, but this is only a UK Poll. :)

A member of the RX-8 helpline team just phoned me at work to confirm that my details are correct on their database. Despite spending 4 days last week changing my colour on the customer website it hadn't reached their main database. QED: the customer website DB is not linked to the ordering DB. Go figure! Anyway, this person (Danni - VERY helpful and pleasant) insisted that the 'Welcome' packs will be sent out in the next 3 days. Believe it if you like but it would be useful. Allegedly the pack contains access to track your order online (presumably not just through the preorder website). We live in hope!

Another 3 days! I was told 3 days by my dealer many days ago. Maybe they work in 3 day periods, like saying "cheque is in the post".

Snap, I got a phone call today also.

A very pleasant girl called Danni.

Told me the welcome packs would be sent out within a week.

Confirmed all my contact details and all my order specifications.

Looks like the beast is waking up. Hope this drip turns into a flood of info.
