Haha, I don't see how anyone can think the WRX is good looking and the 8 ugly?? But they seem to like the Mazdaspeed 8.... I guess those guys love rice :D

Personally I think the WRX is a great car but it's butt ugly and that's the do in for me. I want a sharp looking car.

Yeah well what do you expect from that forum. The ones that did'nt like the RX-8 's looks liked the Mazdaspeed version. I guess they got bored waiting for subaru to anounce the price of the STI. Most of those guys on that forum are trolls soo who cares what they think.

i just think they have nothing inside them.....same goes for their cars, we buy RX8 because it has spcial design and the materials used inside the car is the best around. (compared to Z, EVO, especailly Impreza) Inside the Z it has cheap plastic all over the dash, EVO have nothing good besides the seats and its performance, Impreza has it's performace only. I think that would sum it up. I think Impreza does not look so good especially that STI version although i like the ones in the past 09 version. I think people get RX8 it's because it's an all around car, it has performance, quality, and safty (5 star crash test)

I'm surprised you guys think they're bashing it- most of them seem to be saying they like the way it looks. And what did you expect them to say? They're WRX fans..not RX-8 fans! Zoom44 is right- it's not worth trolling over there, you'll just bring them here doing the same thing.

If someone is such an incompetent driver that they need AWD on paved roads, then I really don't care what their dumbass opinion is.

That is really kind of a compliment - those boys are world class EXPERTS on butt ugly!
They admire a car that looked like my old '73 RX-3 BEFORE they loaded it with wings spoilers and that priceless 'BASMATI' hood scoop!
Of course, to appreciate the full inner ugliness, you have to see the interior........words are just inadequate.

I think that the WRX is a good car, it's just suited for the way i drive :)

I think the WRX guys are just defending their own car against a car it won't likely be compared with which to me, is just silly.

It's more silly of us to say "we should go respond." I don't feel the need to get into a pissing contest with a WRX junky as the conversation would not amount to much.

Exactly.. each has has it's own merits that the owner finds attractive.. to argue those between the two is pointless.. If I liked what the WRX brings to the table I would be considering that car and not the 8.. and vice versa..
