I heard that Marketing killed the option for the first year, since they wanted all the RX-8's to be photographable. But in person, damn it was nice. That would have been the color I got, if it were available. In fact, if a good body kit is available, the whole car will get shot in white. At the introduction of every new rx-# model I can remember that mazda has produced they have not offered white until the second year.
