To be honest I am not really worried about the car being stolen (too rare to be of any use to any thief) and with a good alarm and steering wheel lock that problem should be substantially reduced.

What I worry about is RX8 badge loss. As a brand new car the RX8 badge will be a collectors item. I think the answer is to either de-badge the car or make the badge easy to pop off. Alternatively, you will looose the badge plus the panelling all around it.

Any thoughts?

rael.

If you start thinking like this then you'll have your life ruined by this car. What if it's keyed? What if the wheels are stolen? Never park it in a supermarket area in case a trolley hits it etc etc. I think we'll just have to relax and hope for the best otherwise the worry will spoil the experience.

UK: Shopping trolley
US: Shopping cart

In the UK we had a big VW badge thefts at one point at which point no VW was safe, especially the GTI's. These little gits will steal anything to show their mates, you have been warned.

Maybe the US is a safer place to park!!
