My RX8's Vin is a little above this Vin. Late Aug. 03. I measured and found distance in spec.

 

OH great, another service bulletin. I'm gonna ignore this one, it's getting very depressing .

 

Does this have anything to do with the back right Tail Light cracks that cause's moisture to build up? I have appointment tommorow to have my tail light replaced due to this and i would like to call attention to this at service. My vin is much newer than the ones in question. I cannot tell from the bulletin exactly what to look for. Maybe i should read it again , i did just scan it.

I have never seen this problem dicussed on here? Did i just miss it? Wonder who and where the customers that complained lived?

 

My car falls into the specifiedVIN range butI dont think theres everbeen any interference back there. I did accidently make a tear on my weatherstrip when tryingto install my oversized speakers but I guessthis wouldnt cover that now would it.
