There have been some reports of oil leaking from the oil cooler fittings from a couple of people. You should take the car to the dealer and have them check the fittings for leaks, or otherwise try and figure out where it's leaking from.

Might want to put some aluminum foil down on the ground and park over it to make sure that the spots are indeed coming from the car so you know for sure there's something leaking before you go to get it diagnosed.

Place some paper down on the floor before parking the car. After parking, draw a line around the position of the tires so that when you pull the car back out later, you can see where the leaks are with respect to the tires. That'll allow you to locate the leaks yourself.

However, the last time I checked, the RX-8 isn't a british sports car, so it shouldn't be leaking at all. Have it checked out immediately.

You "think" it's oil?!? It's very easy to tell weather it's oil of not. Smear you finger across the garage floor where the liquid is. If it is slippery and not red in color then it's oil. If it smells swwet and not slippery it's coolant. If it's red and slippery then it's most likey transmission fluid.
