The VQ was derived from the early Nissan V6 engine (VG35DE) which was used in the 300ZX.


Ok, now I know why this whole French thing came about. Last night I was at a Party and I was talking to a guy that works at Nissan. He said the Design is French, but the parts are Japanese. He also said that the wiring is French. Basically it is French engineering, and knowing that the French are a Bunch of surrendering Frogs. Cant trust their Engineering!!!!

...can never have too many French jokes! Very Nice! That S-Tune article was moderately interesting, seems to possibly be slower than the regular Z, do I have that wrong?
