Ive been browsing lately, and i was wondering why ive seen claims that this transmission loses as much as 27% of its power by the time it reaches the wheels. From my understanding, AWD losses arent that large, is the powerloss related to heavier components, or is it because the rotary doesnt have enough tourque?

also is you do the math 27/100 * 238 = 64.26

238 - 64.26 = 173.74

pretty consistent with dyno numbers around here

if this has been discussed, flame me

it has nothign to do with torque.

do a little research on the horsepower rating debacle, and why power is down. the 238 is a very optimistic number, along with drivetrain losses and mass contributing to the lower dyno numbers.

when you understand what people have done so far to get more power, you'll know why power is down so much.

search, please.
