I am looking for some cool rotary stuff like:

1) Moving engine avatar - I don't want to copy someone else's
2) Rotating engine keychain
3) Desktop engine components (i.e. glass or wood rotor, clock, pictures, etc.)

Anybody got any ideas, links or suggestions?

The Keychains in the above link are of good quality. I have 2 of them. One for my collection and one for my keychain. I don't know if he's made a rotating keychain yet, but the original ones were made by mazdaspeed IIRC.

When you said you wanted "Desktop engine components" I couldn't help but think of my friend who has a small block ford engine, polished and beautiful, as a table stand. He put a large round crystal table top on it, and it looks really neat!

I also know that this isn't what you meant by "Desktop engine components" but just reminded me.

I have the rotary keychain from that site, also the valve covers, however I think the Mazda valve caps are a little better, possibly larger.

I cannot figure out the moving avatar's though. If the avatar must be a 100 x 100 picture (less than 6k), how do you get it to be a moving or active avatar? Do you have any ideas on where to get one? :confused:
