Houston RX-7 Club to become the ....
...???
That's right the Houston RX-7 Club a local pillar of all that is rotary and RX-esque is ready to take the next step and officially envelope of all our rotary bretheren.
The time to help choose our new collective name (and website url) has arrived. I have come up with several ideas some of them stink and some of them have garnered great praise from my peers. I have spoken to many of you personally about this subject at our club meetings and online and now it is time to make the move in the right direction.
I want to hear feedback from you guys (and gals) about what you think the club name and spirit should embody.
Other club names in Texas are for example: R.O.A.D.(Dallas), TexasRXs(Austin)
My favorite and possibly best offering for the new club name is R.O.C.H. (pronounced ROCK) obviously the acronymology is simple ~ Rotary Owners Club of Houston.
For legal reasons we cannot use the simple naming conventions like Rotary Club of Houston due to possible issues with the fraternal organization bearing the same name.
Ok.. well after all that fanfare the change isn't such a big deal... never the less I would still love to hear from everyone reguarding this possible change.
Thanks
Keith

Yea I agree about the HAR one.... FWIW - I am making sure to cross reference any of the acronyms with pre-existing clubs or organizations locally and nationwide.
