Hey,

Steve Kan of Gotham Racing, noted rotary tuner and drag racer, said he would be interested in appearing at the 2004 Midwest Roraty Rally. He would speak on rotary tuning, perform tuning on cars, etc.

The cost of the tuning is $250 each, with a minimum of 4 people.

If we only have 3, I guess that would work out to $333.34 each.

On the bonus side, if we can put this together, Steve may drive his new 3-rotor car up!!!

Let me know if you are in, and we can work out the details, how to get the funds to Steve, etc.

For those with RX-8s, to have your car tuned by Steve you would need a standalone ECU like a Haltec, Motec, Wolf, etc. Has anyone gone that route yet on an '8?

Cheers,

Steve

I would love to get my car tuned, I had made plans to get it tuned at A-spec, but if someone good is going to be at MRR I'll wait for that!

i would love to have a car tuned by steve. but i havent seen anyone with a stand alone yet. i dont suspect we will see one anytime soon either. with all of the other things the stock pcm controls besides the a/f and timing people just arent ready to go the stand alone route yet and lose those functions. maybe a couple of the folks that are starting to go FI would like steve's help? but that would just be tweaking things with a piggy back.
