Put on one of your favorite CD's and set the volume to about 12 or so. Now do a short urban trip with a bunch of stop signs. You should hear the audio pilot working very obviously. -Mr. Wigggles selmeralto 07-12-2004, 07:01 AM You might also want to do some A-B testing to compare the sound with and without audiopilot, if you haven't already done this. I prefer the sound without the audiopilot on and I remember from other threads that others have had a similar reaction. Doctorr 07-12-2004, 09:30 AM It seems to work much better with CDs than Radio, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't work at all when set to 'AM' Radio. Put on a cd at slow highway speed, then grack a window - I think it listens for those 'buffetting' tones to crank the volume..... . . . doc M-ster 07-12-2004, 10:52 AM It works better when the volume is low. As road noise get loud, the volume goes up, but if your volume is high the road noise will never drown your volume, thus best test with volume set at a lower range and do a sudden stop, you'll hear the volume drop as well. |
