View Full Version : More green with Mazdaspeed (big pictures, modem beware)
EstonRX 07-11-2004, 12:57 AM Been too long since I've taken pictures. None came out great today, but I couldn't find a good spot before sunset. Lots of pictures, hope you like.

That neon in the background was too cute to crop.

Haven't touched up the Zaino in a long while, but still a good reflection I think.

Fin!
iM2GoOd2bTrU 07-11-2004, 01:09 AM wow, that's beautiful. i've never seen nordic-green with a mazdaspeed kit on it. Very nice. Man... green keeps on looking nicer and nicer. :D
nosubstitutec4s 07-11-2004, 02:00 AM those have to be some of the best green pics ive seen so far. im leaning more and more towards it every day.
Kel Rx8 07-11-2004, 02:30 AM very nice pixs, any plans on getting the entire kit ?
mrtux 07-11-2004, 03:12 AM are the fog lights normally behind the grille? sometimes in other pix i see them in the front or no grille over them...
IZoomZoomI 07-11-2004, 04:30 AM holy mother of big pictures, looks nice, eerie backround... :o
mikeb 07-11-2004, 05:09 AM looks very nice
are you gonna add the rest of the kit?
takahashi 07-11-2004, 10:04 AM Eston you have proven to me that the MazdaSpeed front matches well with the factory kit...
Thanks and look good... and now where is my lotto ticket? (I have to see if I won first prize :D)
Tostie14 07-11-2004, 12:55 PM Hey,
I'm assuming you did it on purpose, but it definitely made for a cool shot to take the pics in front of a cemetary.
Mazdaspeedgirl 07-11-2004, 01:01 PM Beautiful...
dolemite85 07-11-2004, 04:43 PM That looks really good  . I'm torn right now between whether I should buy an 8 in Nordic Green or Black ugh such a hard decision!
Moostafa29 07-11-2004, 09:37 PM Never realized how beautiful that color was until I saw it in person. Congrats on an absolutely great looking car...but hurry up and get the rest of the kit.
EstonRX 07-12-2004, 12:32 AM Thanks for the compliments :)
As far as the rest of the kit, no plans on that in the remotely near future. I bought the car with the appearance package, so I'll just keep that on for the time being. If I do go for side skirts, I might actually look at some aftermarket ones to get a little more styling on them. For the time being, I'm digging the MS nose with the front splash guards and side aero flares anyhow. The next few thousands $$ are going to audio/video and then performance modifications, so it will be a while before I look at any more body kit additions.
Regarding the fog lights, they naturally sit behind the grill on the Mazdaspeed nose, but you can cut holes in the grill for them. I decided to leave the grill as is both to maintain a nice solid look and for protection.
As far as green or black, that's the same two colors I chose between. I went with the green because I had a black car for the prior three years. There are few things as beautiful as a pristine shiny black car, but there's no doubt that even the green, as dark as it is, is way easier to maintain.
LOUSINIT 07-13-2004, 10:59 PM gotta say , love the green, maybe that's why mine is also lol. Stock for now , but things are in the works on appearance.
CGRX8 07-18-2004, 10:17 AM You Just Convinced Me To Look Into The Mazdaspeed Kit. I Qwasnt Sure How It Would Look On My Nordic Green But It Looks Hot. Did It Lower The Front? I Have Lowered Mine 1.75" Already. Woundering If It Will Be A Issue.
brothervoodoo 07-18-2004, 12:32 PM CGRX8, you have a mean looking green!
mikeb 07-18-2004, 01:08 PM it shouldn't lower the front that much
I didnt notice to much of a difference with the ms front as oppose to the AP one
EstonRX 07-21-2004, 01:21 AM If I remember right, the stock front (WITH air dam) is at 6" and the MS front is at 5.5" (at stock setup, no lowering).
So, if you're comparing to a nose that has the front air dam, you're only looking at half an inch lower. Compared to no front air dam, I'm not sure (maybe another half inch?).
(One of my old favorites)

HighRev'n 11-10-2004, 03:14 PM EstonRX I PM you with a question. Thanks.
cortc 11-12-2004, 01:16 AM The fogs are on wrong...
mikeb 11-12-2004, 08:41 PM how are they on wrong?
because they are behind the mesh
SlowLude 11-12-2004, 09:27 PM Guys, I got a question. Is that a real Mazdaspeed kit or a replica? And do all the kits have that plastic thing across the main front grille? Would it be possible to get rid of it? Thanks!
RXE16T 11-12-2004, 10:02 PM Looks good... not many Nordic Greens running around with MS kits.
abbid 11-12-2004, 10:07 PM how are they on wrong?
because they are behind the mesh
they are mounted on the upper side, not the lower.
