Many thanks for all the great info...I've been soaking up this board like a sponge for the last couple of weeks, learning all that I can.
Last Wednesday (6/30) I got into my 1998 Jeep Cherokee, drove to the dealership and left in a beautiful new Titanium Gray GT. One week and 350 miles later all I can say is WOW!!! and look forward to really opening her up in the next couple of weeks.
Happy rotoring and thanks again!

While you're talking about it, my father owns a suv since almost 8 years now. He doesn't want to change, but I really don't appreciate to drive those cars. I HATE SUVs. The other day, after reading a little bit on the board, I said "how about if we test drive a RX-8, we like the looks of it, it could be nice heh?" Then he replied, "no way, you know if I like it, I could really be tempted to buy one!". Lol. I'll try again next week. But no matter what, I'll have mine too one day. We have some projects and when the things will go well, I'll buy a rx-8.

Welcome the fold of 8's. As for the SUV. I traded in my 2000 Sonoma. I miss the carrying feature, BUT There is something about tearing around corners in a tight handling car !
And scaring your passenger to death.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I too miss the carrying capacity as well as the off-road capability.
I might give the track a run or two--never did it before, so its on the list!
For my first sports car and first standard, I'm mighty happy. The hardest thing to get used to is the view; 6 years in a Jeep and 2 more in a pickup, I'm not yet accustomed to looking at the undersides of other cars :)
btw abbid, I picked up a couple of quarts on the way home from the dealer!
Ciao

Congrats, and welcome to the fold! A fellow Philly-ite, to boot. I just got mine on Independence Day, and haven't stopped smiling yet. Too bad about the rain, it makes it dirty - I probably should've gone with Titanium also, but I couldn't stop thinking about the Nordic Green, that is one badass color. Congratulations again,
