People that are either too lazy to read, or just choose to ignore what they read, should not be allowed to drive a car. zoom44 07-06-2004, 09:51 PM does he check his oil when the oil light comes on? \\Konig\\ 07-06-2004, 09:52 PM OUCH dam that looks painful. I found myself laughing when I read it though........ epitrochoid 07-06-2004, 11:10 PM if he knows enough about cars to have an rsx that would ever overheat, he should know better than to even touch that radiator cap cgrx 07-06-2004, 11:24 PM He does know better. Probably too much and got some extra confidence and thought he could open it a little them close it. I guess the cap didn't seat itself properly after he took it off a little and it blew shigginsrx8 07-06-2004, 11:36 PM Originally posted by XDEEDUBBX YOUR FRIEND IS THE DUMBEST PERSON ON THIS PLANET!! I really would prefer better notification before I subject myself to viewing something like that.. cgrx 07-06-2004, 11:47 PM Sorry, about that. I should have taken everyones "gross out level" into consideration. I do apalogize. What degree burn is that by the way ? rx8cited 07-06-2004, 11:55 PM Originally posted by cgrx Yes, his has a sticker reminding you not to and he isn't blind. I think he thought he could control it and just let a little air out ?? Sorry your friend got hurt and thanks for the graphic reminder. I'm not sure what all the whining is about - the pictures are not that graphic - damn what do these people do when they're watching TV and the war is being covered or there's a violent movie on? What was he trying to do that made him take the cap off? I've taken them off other cars while the car was warm (not hot) - knowing that I might have to jump back fast. Best to use a rag on top of the cap when doing this. rx8cited Kel Rx8 07-07-2004, 12:03 AM i hope your kiding about the gross out level ? i knew before reading the post the thread title alone was like what a idiot.pixs just make it cooler. let your friend with type s to remember that next step is the horrible water blister's he well get.!! lol take some pixs. shigginsrx8 07-07-2004, 12:05 AM Originally posted by shigginsrx8 THANKS A LOT MAN!!! now i have beer all over my shirt, and it came from my nose!! GiN 07-08-2004, 08:45 PM That reminds me of the time my RX-7's filler neck cracked and exploded in my face while I was looking under the hood. It didn't leave me with any major burns or scars, but I must say engine coolant is kinda tasty...
