Hi all:

Thinking of putting on a mini-tech day at my house in Manchester, NH. I have a Hymee grill, rear aero flares and side strakes to install. Thinking people could swing by around 10 or so, wrench on the cars, and then head down to Hooters for a late lunch?

Who's up for an 8 gathering? So far Speed Racer and Tigger are in. Anyone else?

i'm in for this one, where it at ? (hopefully my car isn't flooded 8/)

The Prius sucks but it is hard to complain about getting 405 miles between fill-ups of 9 gallons of the cheap stuff! Maybe it will go faster if I put a Vivid Racing sticker on it. :p

So it won't be too bad to take off the front bumper huh? I'm hoping the grill will fit great and protect the radiator. If you want to bring some of your tools, please do. I have my Makita cordless drill to install the aero flares.

Anyone else have anything they are doing to their 8?

It looks like there are about a dozen fasteners that hold the bumper in place. It looks straight forward and should be quick 'n easy to take off. I'm sure that you have all of the tools we need but I'll bring some of mine just to be on the safe side.

If I can get out of work this Sunday, 50/50... I plan to be there...

I will also throw a few tools in the trunk... though I think the "Prius" is right, you should have what you need most likely...

Hey, were are all the people that said they would like to just meet up with people in the area??? Only two or three of us? This seems like a great chance fo atleast a half a dozen of us to get together... and your place is conviently snack in the middle for most of us.

This Sunday is just bad for me. I'm leaving for vacation at 5:30am or I would be in like flynn. Of course, my phantom CZ Stage 1.1 hasn't shipped yet. I'm starting to wonder........

Count me in too. I don't think I have any concrete plans for Sunday. I'd like to come and pick up a few pointers on working on this car.

Just a quick thanks for all the help today from Speed Racer, Tigger, and Downshift. I couldn't have done all the mods I wanted to do today without your help. I'll be posting up pictures of the Hymee grill, black side strakes, and front splash guards later tonite.

I knew the strakes would look sweet on your car. They are very rare...(only two sets know in existance).

I need to do something soon to protect my oil coolers. I might go with the RB screens. Your Hymee's look nice too.

How about you Roy? Did you do anything to the Prius while you were there?

I threatened to put a Vivid Racing banner on the windshield of the Prius. That's got to be good for a few more Hp! :p

No problem, Kevin. It was a good meet. Looking at the mods you guys have done, I'm very tempted to start doing something on my car.

I think a Microsoft.com banner would be more fitting on the Prius. That should add a few more fps on that beast!
