For those of you who would like to see the RX-8 in the metal then the British Motor Show will be at the NEC from late May to early June. Only trouble is: late May to early June 2004!!!

I'm obviously not paying attention because I only realised there was no 2003 show today and I was relying on it to see both the RX-8 and the 350Z together and for real. Apparently there was going to be a London show this year but it was cancelled because the UK car industry couldn't get its act together. What a bunch of incompetent morons.

I grow more depressed about this pathetic island by the day... :(

ISTR a statement by Mazda UK a while ago that they are trying to minimise auto show appearances anyway because they're not particularly cost-effective from a product promotion point of view, compared to other endeavours.

I can see their point, Formula Woman will no doubt raise the profile of the car a lot more and be money well-spent.

And anyway, by July you'll be able to see and *test drive* an RX-8 in the flesh without having to pay an extortionate entry fee. :)

Edit: oh, and nice choice of colour BTW. :)

Yep, a test drive will be very interesting.
