i would have taken better pics but they didnt let anybody in the car...and they brought the slow version in automatic...but it still look hella good.:D

I sure wish I could sit in it though...

Looks like the exact same black one that was in Detroit -- except they let us sit in it there :D

Yeah, i was there on Sunday, I got some pics as well.... I asked the guys if they would let me sit in it but they said that due to the fact that people have been stealling stuff off of the car, mazda told them to not let anybody sit in it by ANY means.

Thats for all the support people.

I think thats BS. although i did see a missing shift knob. but i dont care the should have let us sit in it...just like they should have let us sit in the evo8.

companies take the shift knobs off the cars so people won't steal them when they sit in them at the shows. the fact that the knob was gone doesn't suggest that it was stolen, on the contrary, it suggests that they were letting some visitors to sit in the car.

Went and saw that car in MN 2 days ago. First time I saw it in person.

because then you would just present a challenge to those folks and you would end up with shift knobs that are damaged and need replaced but no one can get it off to put the new one on:)

On close inspection, this is the same car I referred to as the "Mystery Black Car" at the launch at the Detroit Auto Show in January.;)
