I am looking into purchasing an additional set of wheels for my yellow RX-8 and have fallen in love with these ADR M-Sport wheels in the Hyperblack finish. These wheels may end up getting used as winter wheels or as summer wheels depending upon answers to the following questions.

I do not plan on autocrossing my 8 and my wheel purchasing decision will be based more on looks than weight, so please don't bash these because they aren't light 3 piece forged ultra expensive wheels.

1) Does anyone have any experience with these wheels?

2) Does anyone know if these are compatible with the TPMS sensors? (If yes, I would probably be looking at purchasing these in an 18 x 8.5" configuration and using them with 245/40/18 tires for summer driving. If not, I would probably be looking at purchasing them in a 17 x 7.5" configuration and using them with 215 or 225/50/17 winter tires for winter driving.)

3) Has anybody heard of any problems with the finish on these wheels wearing down (particularly important for winter wheels that are exposed to lots of salt, etc.)?

4) Does anyone have any pictures of these wheels on an RX-8? Alternatively, could anyone photochop these wheels onto an RX-8 and post a picture here?

5) Has anyone seen any hot pictures of Kari yet? (I just through that in to see if you were really paying attention. If you have, please share.... Please!!!)

Thank you all!

MikeB,

Thanks for the tip. I was able to find pictures of the same wheel on rx8on19s car and determined that I still love them. I would still prefer to see them on a yellow RX-8, but that's not a big deal.

Fluque,

Through mail order, they appear to be running around $160 per wheel for 17 x 7 and $220 per wheel for 18 x 8.5".
