someone emailed me this, and i found it to be pretty good:

Here is a very good test of your ethics:

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. Please don't answer it without giving it some serious thought. By giving an honest answer you will be able to test where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one way or the other.

Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.
Please scroll down slowly and consider each line - this is important for the test to work accurately.

You're in Florida...In Miami, to be exact... There is great chaos
going on around you, caused by a hurricane and severe floods. There are huge masses of water all about you. You are a news photographer and you are in the middle of this great disaster.

The situation is nearly hopeless.

You're trying to shoot impressive photos, photos that capture the
emotion and tragedy of the events. Houses and people are floating
around you, disappearing into the water! Nature is showing all her
destroying power, ripping everything asunder.

Suddenly you see a woman in the water. She is fighting for her life, trying not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud. You move closer. Somehow the woman looks familiar.

You know who it is - it's Hillary Clinton!

At the moment you recognize who she is, you also notice that the
raging waters are about to take her away, forever. You realize you
have two options. You can save her or you can take the best photo of your life. You can save the life of Hillary Clinton, or you can shoot a Pulitzer prize winning photo, a unique photo displaying the actual moment of death of one of the world's most powerful women.

And here's the question (please give an honest answer):

Would you select color film, or rather go with the simplicity of classic black and white?

Gotta be classy - black and white, of course. ;)

That is sooo funny....

But seriously....I would go black and white :)

Hmmm, black and white. Being a very tragic moment, it's better to use a less distracting approach so that the viewer can focus on a the loss of the person's life instead. Also, black and white pictures tend to have a greater impact on me, because of the extreme contrasts...(depending on the vividness of the picture).

but that's just me :)

The execution photograph by Eddie Adams was done in black and white, and is my favorite picture of all time. If it was made in color, I doubt it would have the same impact on me.

::if you are easily disturbed, i'd recommend not looking at it::

Take the color shot, and then scan it into photoshop to apply the black and white effect.

That is so horrible because I would have saved her if I had to. But my arms are short and I probably wouldn't have been able to reach her. Black and white is the way to go for the great photo's like that would be, I mean for the tragic photos.

LOL Geez, and I thought I'd get to save someone for once. Black and White all the way. :D

I wouldn't bother giving her another spotlight.

How about a smile and a wave? :)

I wouldn't take the picture at all. If I did and it was made public, I'd be criticized for not saving her and probably be branded a murderer. Forget that!

If I tried to save her she'd only drown me while trying to save herself. Since I have a better life scenario than she does, I should sacrifice it so that her bad decision that resulted in her getting herself into that situation in the first place can be taken care of at my expense? Why should I be saved too? That would make sense. I have more to lose since I am not at the same level of risk on land. I should risk giving it up? No way!

I would forget that I ever saw her and save myself. After all if I am smart enough to save myself, why should I be punished for it? I saw nothing. I rather be branded as the hero who recovered her lost body.
