View Full Version : Finally built my mazadaspeed 8
MorePower4me 06-29-2004, 06:41 AM This is my first post. I have followed this forum for months, and decided to share my ride. The problem is I would like some help from you veterans on how to post pictures.
My car is close to being completed,(if there is such a thing), and I would llike to share.
Mine is titanium, Mazdaspeed boby kit, Mazdaspeed flywheel, Auto EXE suspension, clear corners, carbon fiber 2 piece splitters, R-majic eyelids, brushed fuel door, Privat 19" wheels, B&B exhaust, Mazdaspeed carbon door sills, Mazdaspeed strut bar, and K&N intake. I thinks thats it.
Please help with pictures.
Thanks.
dankgummy 06-29-2004, 07:01 AM what do u mean help w/ pictures?
MorePower4me 06-29-2004, 07:49 AM What are the steps to post my pictures?
Thanks
hit the actual "post reply" button right to the top right of the normal "your reply" field on the bottem of the page or the top of the page (the button that is a gradient blue to white with an orange and blue triangle thing on each side with white text)- then scroll down and there is a button that says browse- hit that find you images on your machine and add them- please hurry cause I lust after your beast your describing (I want to see the pics)
Jeffjett 06-29-2004, 08:58 AM You will also have to manipulate the size of your images. There is a limit to the file size allowed to be loaded. If your file is too large, it will not accept your images.
if they are two large mail them to me and I will compress them and then post them on the board real quick 4 you>?
MorePower4me 06-29-2004, 12:43 PM Kain,
I appreciate your help.
I have not taken the photos yet. The car will be in the shop for a couple more days. We are testing some nitrous applications, and suspension heights with the MS kit installed.
A couple of parts are coming in the end of the week from Japan so I will probebly take some photos this weekend when it is all put back together.
Thanks agian.
I
adrian-1 06-29-2004, 02:16 PM You tease!!
Well, at least you know how to post pics now.
MorePower4me 06-29-2004, 02:23 PM No teaseing intended. I have tried to register on this site for months. I was finally able to yesterday.
With the last alterations being completed, I thought it would be best to show the finished product.
Pics will come and will be worth the wait. (not cocky, I just really like my car)
mikeb 06-29-2004, 03:26 PM cool
sounds nice
sounds cool, I'd like to see some pics.
Interesting though... he changed his story to "I have tried to register on this site for months. I was finally able to yesterday"
When it originally was "This is my first post. I have followed this forum for months, and decided to share my ride"
anyways, I'm awaiting some pics!
c'mon man.. get on them pics!
whosyourbaba 06-30-2004, 03:55 AM you rich rich man.
I'm so envious. I need to find some cash!
Also, you can try uploading the pics to a website, for ex yahoo photos and get the link of the picture and then link it that way.
AND, GET THE PICS! CANT WAIT!
MorePower4me 06-30-2004, 06:42 AM LoPo, (detective)
I actually was registered for months, but for some reason I was unable to post anything. I e-mailed a moderator and got some help. I was just able to post a couple of days ago.
You can read and follow the site without being a member.
Really, not very intersting.
MorePower4me 07-07-2004, 09:21 AM Kain,
I got pictures, (didn't get everything installed) but it looks ok. It says my pictures are too large. Are you still up for emailing them to you to post?
Left to install, CF 2 peice splitters, CF hood, Mazdaspeed pillars. Also I orderd Tein coilovers, cause the Auot EXE springs are not low enough in the front.
absolutely! kain@biotamorph.com
MorePower4me 07-07-2004, 10:13 AM on the way
sportscarfreak 07-07-2004, 10:26 AM ummm ... still waiting for pics ... come on man .... I'm at work, I got the get off soon and I NEED to see those pictures!!! =D

IZoomZoomI 07-07-2004, 01:03 PM nice... are those pics with the autoexe springs? cause honestly its low enough.
NAVILESRX8 07-07-2004, 01:09 PM ehh....
IZoomZoomI 07-07-2004, 01:15 PM wow seems like youve only had the car for no longer than a couple of weeks and already all decked out. good job!
I thought I posted them all :( let me try the others again
mysql101 07-07-2004, 01:19 PM very sweet - but you need to get some larger pics posted :)
I can barely see the car in those.

which of his pics would you like larger>? I can jack it up for you if you name one (or describe one rather)
\\Konig\\ 07-07-2004, 05:17 PM THat is one sweet ass rx8! But yes you need to make at least some of the pics larger. Kain why dont you just choose which pics to enlarge. Their all good pics anyway.

MorePower4me 07-07-2004, 09:02 PM Thanks for all the positive feedback. I'm glad to be a new memeber.
I have actually had the car for about 6 months, and have being adding over time.
Before the MS kit I had the Auto EXE springs on the back, and Sprint springs on the front. The Sprint springs lowered the car 2 3/4 inches. It looked sweet, front tire was burired under the wheelwell, but the MS nose would have been scraping.
I am going to leave the Auot EXE springs all around. Thanks, Mike at Vivid for those and the B&B exhaust.
I installed the CF 2 peice splitters tonite,(a job I would not wish on my worst enemy). They are about 3/4 to 1 inch thick. They look awesome, but I definetly won't be able to lower it any more.
I should have my eyelids from Mike tommorrow, my MS pillars next week, and my CF hood in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure about the hood, but it would sure be different.
Thanks again to Kain for posting my pictures. If I can do something differents so they are bigger, just let me know.
JeupRX-8 07-07-2004, 09:45 PM I would have that bodykit on my car, but I plan to drive it in the winter and it is too low. Your car looks good though, nice color. :)

VividRacing.com 07-08-2004, 05:26 PM Dang! the car looks good man. Nice job and thanks for the props.
RaceBannon 07-08-2004, 07:15 PM I have a titanium RX-8- was wondering how the brushed fuel door would look- Could you get a closer shot so i can see how it looks against the paint? You should check out the Auot-bahn sports mirrors, they will look perfect on the car. I'm getting them.
Rottweiler 07-08-2004, 07:24 PM i want that kit so bad! looks nice man, can u post up some pics that show the front angle?
epitrochoid 07-08-2004, 11:38 PM how does that auto exe suspension handle? i want something not as popular as the JIC's
MorePower4me 07-09-2004, 06:02 AM I will take some close ups of the fuel door. Also I'm going to take some of the CF splitters on the front end, and the new MS door pillars.
Where can I find the Auto-bahn mirrors?
The like the handeling of the Auto EXE. It's much firmer then the stock, but not rough at all.
wow...that looks great!! I'm impressed...
where did you pick up your cf splitters, if ya don't mind?

shelleys_man_06 08-08-2004, 01:12 AM Nice car . You say you spent $10,000 on this already?! Damn. My money would've gone into a turbocharger (GT3037 now :D), or paying back my student loans.
