BTW: It is a standard 1.8L engine, not a 2.0L.

I'm anxious to see this car. IMHO it is the last little thing the Miata could add to make it perfect. Love the Miata as it is, and would be happy forever with the current power, but just about 40-50horses more would make perfect sense.

Very cool, but since this is a rotary site, I must say it would be even better if they dropped the low-power RENESIS in there instead...

I think a standard low power 4 cylinder and a high power 210-230 horsepower rotary high-power roadster with other upgrades...

The Z4 would have some competition other than the Boxster :)

the big question is, how will they price it??

will they price it below/at the base price for the RX-8 (25-26k) or will they nudge it close to 27+k????

27k msrp would not surprise me at all seeing as how the special edition starts at like 24ish

it's about time! jackson racing has been offering SCs for miatas forever! now mazdaspeed should just go from there and tweak the handling aspects for the added power. dammit. i wanted a four door, but if the miata comes with a factory warrantied FI version... :drool:.
