yes, i too don't get it... i am seriously out of the loop: case and point, i found out only two months ago what "all your base are belong to us" was all about :o...

It's from a badly translated Japanese video game from the early 80's- actually was rather funny about a year ago...:)

"All your base are belong to us" is a lot older than a year.. haha.. It came from a video game with english subtitles.. Unfortunately something got lost in the Japanese to English translation.. haha..

That's why I said it came from an early 80's video game :p However, it didn't become the "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US" in its current cult status until almost two years ago-ok, so I was off there, but give me a break- I can barely remember 6 months ago as it is. I didn't get it either (llama) until I tried saying it streched out and with a lilt. Lllllaaaaaaama. Then project yourself to the 60's, psychadelic colors, and some bad acid. Do this while wearing a chicken suit and a french tickler and a dwarf trio sings "Puff the Magic Dragon" in Cantonese in the background and you'll get the appriciation of "Llama".
