I just had a set of these put on. I went wider than stock, 245/40ZR18 all around. All I can say is that these tires are
AMAZING. Much better performers than the OE potenzas. They have a treadwear rating of 300, so I hope the'll last longer than the OE tires as well. My stock tires were ready to go at about 14000 miles. And now, at 19000 miles, the tread depth was no more than the thickness of a key.

For those of you looking for a good summer tire, I highly recomend the KDW2.

If anyone's curious I can have pictures tomorrow.

Please do. I was planning on using the same size tire for my replacements, which will be soon.

Why did y'all choose the BFG over other brands?

I chose it because it was highly recommended to me. Awesome wet/dry traction, aggressive tread pattern, good tread wear (300) for a high performance tire. Not bad. I have pics.....they are being developed as we speak. :)

I just got a set of Falken Azenis ST115's put on the car and they ran very nicely at Homestead. Very quiet too, although it hasnt rained yet while I was out so dunno on wet but it's gotten very good ratings for wet driving.

Great price on the buggers too.

here's the pic of the tire

I'm a pretty agressive driver. I push the hell out of it. I CANNOT get these tires to break lose. The front end will try to push a bit, but that's more in the nature of the suspension I believe. I still haven't gotten real understeer though. The front tires may protest (loudly), but they hold the road with the tenacity of a pit bull.

Thanks paradigm for the pic.

A couple more questions -- how is the road noise? And how many miles have you put on them so far?

I had been contemplating the Goodyear Eagle F1 tire, as they have the highest average score from Tire Rack.

Road noise doesn't seem to bad, but I have a midpipe, so my car is louder than most. I don't feel like it's nothing that rolling the windows down or turning the radio up can't fix though.

I've only got about 400 miles on them. I had them put on last thursday.

As far as the goodyears go the're a very good tire as well, I hear. But are they worth the extra ~$35 per tire? (as shown on tirerack.com)
